In addition to the already imposed UK£ 0.09 per kilo war risk surcharge, many airlines are about to re-introduce "fuel surcharges" as a result of increasing crude oil prices. At the time of writing, we have heard from four airlines, Lufthansa and Air France included, who intend to levy a charge of UK£ 0.03 per kilo with effect from 15th April (LH) and 22nd April (AF).
