Automotive Forwarders and Mini Specialists, PHOENIX AIRCARGO, have just airfreighted one of the new BMW Mini's to the USA. One of just a handful that have left these shores, and now is on it's way to California.

Mini-Mania USA, the only independent (non-BMW) parts dealer in the USA, and a long standing client of Phoenix, has been granted permission by the US authorities, to import the New Mini for test and development purposes.

With plans that go back over a year in the making, Mini-Mania is expected to be a major supplier of custom body parts, performance enhancing product, and general 'tweaks' to make the, already rather sporty looking New Mini, a real eye catcher.

We can expect to see the fruits of Mini-Mania's labour, and huge investment, unveiled when the New Mini, sporting some of the New Enhancements, will be raced for the first time at the Leguna-Seca race circuit, California, on the 3rd & 4th of November this year. The new Mini will compete in a specialist event with a field of both current and vintage Mini's. Watch out for cars sponsored by UK specialists, including that of Phoenix Aircargo.

Phoenix set up the purchase of the New Mini for Mini Mania through one of their clients, 'Barn Hill Minis, a small, but very active Classic Mini supplier. Whilst the BMW Mini is due for launch in the USA early next year, Phoenix and Barn Hill expect to see many more private exports from the U.K., such is the interest, and passion for the marque.
